How to install a signed certificate just for the Equitrac Web client in ControlSuite Equitrac?
Answer :
This is a simple task that is performed with a combination of IIS Administration and Configuration Assistant
Open Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager in Windows Administrative Tools and install your certificate
- Select the IIS server and go to Server Certificates
- Choose Import and bring in your certificate
- Once imported go to the Default Web Site and select Bindings
- Select the New certificate
- Restart the default web site
- Open Configuration Assistant
- Go to Authorization & Security and Login to the security framework
- Go to Enrollments
- Select Web Client and Unenroll and then Enroll the Web Client
Re-open the Equitrac Web System manager and check that login is possible. The certificate should be visible in the address bar
