Equitrac Web Client removes spaces in Scan to Folder workflows when a space exists in the Folder name

Problem: 

We have seen that when configuring a scan to folder workflow using Internet Explorer 11, if the folder path has a space configured, when saving the workflow, the space is removed, leaving an incorrect folder path.

Solution: 

This is caused by a feature in Internet Explorer 11 called “Auto URL Detection”. We have investigated this feature and it appears that this cannot be disabled.

Resolution:

If you need to configure scan to folder workflows and the path contains spaces, please ensure another browser is used such as Edge, Chrome or Firefox.
