AutoStore 8.3.0.1 - Microsoft Office 365 Mail Send: Unable to route Knowledge Object

Problem: 

Not able to route emails through Microsoft Office 365 Mail component using AutoStore 8.3 FP1 or after upgrading to AutoStore 8.3 FixPack 1  

 

Getting error:

Microsoft Office 365 Mail Send: Unable to route Knowledge Object (One or more errors occurred. Object reference not set to an instance of the object)

 

Solution: 

The method of sending emails had to be changed to address attaching larger files.  With this change, an additional API permissions needs to be added.

To add the additional API Permission:

  1. In the Azure application, under API permissions, please add Mail.ReadWrite as well.  This applies to both Delegated and Application type.
  2. In TokenVault revoke the consent
  3. Have User to re-authorize in TokenVault 

 

Please Note: If the above steps do not resolve the issue, most likely the API permissions have not been accepted or granted by users for the application.
