License server is unable to pull license after MAC address has changed

On the server hosting the Kofax Licensing service, Configuration Assistant is unable to pull a license after the MAC address on the Network Interface changed on the server hosting the application.


When you register the license for ControlSuite, the MAC address is used to generate a System ID. This System ID is then used to register the license with our licensing system. If the MAC address of the system hosting the Kofax Licensing service changes, this will result in the System ID changing, invalidating the previously registered license, and will require reactivation using the new System ID.

In order to correct this, please contact Kofax Technical Support with your previous Licensing information to reset the license, then proceed to re-register the license using the new System ID.
