Account Privileges Required for the CAS and EQCluster Service Accounts to Run in a Cluster Environment
With Equitrac Office and Equitrac Express, what rights and privileges do the Equitrac Core Accounting Server (CAS) and EQCluster service accounts require to run in a cluster? Do they need local administrative rights on each node of a cluster?
Yes, both service accounts do require local administrative rights. If they do not have these privileges, in the event of a failover, the CAS system ID used for licensing may use the local system account or CAS cluster network name instead of the cluster name.
