Equitrac - Konica Minolta Combined Client - trace log collection

Information:

To enable specific logs for Konica Minolta Combined Client troubleshooting in Equitrac:

  1. On the DCE server make a backup of the following file: C:\Program Files\Equitrac\<Express> or <Office>\Device Control Service\KonicaPanelClient\Web.config
  2. Open the file in a text editor: C:\Program Files\Equitrac\<Express> or <Office>\Device Control Service\KonicaPanelClient\Web.config
  3. Under <configuration><appSettings>, change <add key="OpenAPILogLevel" value="none" /> to <add key="OpenAPILogLevel" value="OpenAPIMessageOnly" />
  4. Under <configuration><categorySoruces>, change <add name="Trace Category" switchValue="Information"> to <add name="Trace Category" switchValue="Information,Verbose">
  5. Save the file
  6. Restart the Nuance Device Control Service and Device Registration Service
  7. Recreate the issue, collect the logs (from C:\Program Files\Equitrac\<Express> or <Office>\Device Control Service\KonicaPanel/Logs)
  8. Disable the logs by reversing the changes in steps 3 and 4.
  9. Restart the Nuance Device Control Service and Device Registration Service
