Equitrac Printer Conversion Wizard Is Slow to Return the List of Printers Available for Conversion

With Equitrac Office and Equitrac Express, when using the Equitrac Printer Conversion Wizard, if you select the "Auto-discover model option, there is a noticeable delay before the list of printers available for conversion is returned.
When the "Auto-discover model" option is enabled, Equitrac uses SNMP to collect model specific information about every printer detected. If there are several printers to be converted and the device names that appears on the arch results list is insufficient to identify the device, the additional model information can assist in the process.
The Equitrac Printer Conversion Wizard contacts each device three times. As a result, if there are a large number of printers on the print server, it can take several minutes for the list to appear.
The model specific information is optional and not required to convert printers to use Equitrac ports. To speed up the conversion process, disable the option when converting printers.
