Plotter becomes permanently paused when printing through an Equitrac port (MAC Print Client)

Issue:

Plotter becomes permanently paused when printing through an Equitrac port.

Possible root cause:

Even though the Mac client has code to handle Mac DRC identifier changes, if the identifier changes often there might be rare conditions which can cause this issue

Resolution:

Confirm the below setting(s):

The MAC Identifier must satisfy following conditions:

1.    Be consistent

2.    Be unique across customer installation / CAS database;

3.    Be resolvable from Windows.
