Print Pop-Up Dialog Box Fails to Appear When Printing; Job Still Prints, EP5

Problem:

With Equitrac Professional 5, on a workstation with the Print client configured to track desktop printers, when you print a document, the pop-up dialog box does not appear. The document prints but no print transaction is recorded and error message appears for the printer in the error log.

Solution:

To resolve the issue, delete the desktop printer from the workstation and recreate using the Windows Printer Wizard. Once recreated, restart the EQ shared engine service.
