Slow Print Popup with Toshiba Universal Printer 2 Driver

Problem:

Popup would take 20 to 25 seconds to appear when using the above drivers.

Solution:

Need to disable SNMP on the IP Port and under Printer Properties

1. First on the Print Server, you need to convert the Printer back to a Standard IP Port.

a. You can use the Equitrac Conversion Wizard or do it manually.

b. Click on configuration for the Standard Port and Disable SNMP.

c. Convert IP Port back to EQ Port.

2. Also on the Printer Server

a. Right Click on Printer and click on Printing Defaults

b. Click Other Tab

c. Disable SNMP Communication

This should resolve the slowness issue with the popup.
