Print job does not print out at printer when one particular user prints through EP 5 DRE printer port in Citrix session.

Issue:

When one particular user is printing through a Citrix session to an EP 5 DRE printer port, and the print job goes through the DRE/print server, the print job never gets printed out at the printer. All other users can print with no issues.

Resolution:

  • Have the client check to see if the user is part of a different Citrix XenApp Policy group or if  there are any Citrix XenApp Policy settings that are different for the user that is having print issue compared to other users that are not have print issues.
  • Have the client verify that the DRE service account is part of the print servers local admin. group and print operators group.
