With Equitrac Office, Equitrac Express, and Equitrac Professional 5, when installed on a VMWare server, are there any recommendations for VMWare resource allocation?
The VMWare host server should be configured to provide "static" or "dedicated" resources (memory, CPU, network card) to the Guest server instead of using resource sharing with the other Guest servers. The Equitrac server should be guaranteed more than the minimum requirements for an installation; however, the exact amount will depend on the performance seen in each individual installation.
