New Users Are Unable to Log In at a PageCounter Terminal or TouchPoint Console

In Equitrac Professional 5, new users are unable to log in at a PageCounter terminal or TouchPoint console. However, the user can successfully log in to other systems (for example, the time and billing system). This behavior can occur if the new user has not been added to Equitrac. New users often need to be created in many different systems (for example, the network, time and billing systems, Equitrac, etc). However, just because a user is created in one system does not mean it is automatically created in all systems.

To resolve this issue, verify that the new user exists in Equitrac.  If the user does not exist, use whatever method is applicable for your configuration to have them added to Equitrac.
