TouchPoint Console Display Invalid Matter Error Message

With Equitrac Professional 5, in a system configured for unique Matter validation, if you enter some a Matter codes in the print pop-up dialog box, the code is accepted. However, if you enter the same Matter codes at a TouchPoint Console, an invalid matter error message appears. When you search for the problem Matter codes within the print client, two clients with the same Matter number are returned.

This behavior can occur if an error in the validation import file or a manual entry has accidentally created duplicates Matter numbers.

To resolve this issue, identify and deactivate all of the duplicates Matter codes in Equitrac.  If validation codes are imported from a third-party system, verify that duplicate codes do not exist in the third-party system.  Generate and import a new validation import file and verify that duplicate Matter codes are not recreated.
