Unable to Send Faxes Using a TouchPoint Console

With Equitrac Professional 5, using a TouchPoint Console, users are is unable to send faxes. The fax machine initially has a dial tone, but it changes to a fast busy signal or operator error when dialing the line. If the TouchPoint Console is bypassed, faxes can be successfully sent. This behavior may occur if the TouchPoint Console is on bypass. Review the status screen on the user screen of the TouchPoint Console. If the word "Bypass" appears, use a bypass key to put the TouchPoint Console back to normal mode.
