How to Determine if Print Errors Are Equitrac or Windows Based

With Equitrac Office, Equitrac Express, or Equitrac Professional 5, if print jobs are getting stuck in the print spooler, how can you tell if it is caused by Equitrac software or is a Windows problem? If you are experiencing issues with print jobs becoming stuck in the print spooler, convert the printer ports from EQ (Equitrac) ports back to Windows TCP/IP ports. If the problem persists, since Equitrac has been removed from the picture, the issue is a Windows issue.

If Equitrac Printer Conversion Wizard was originally used to convert the TCP/IP port to an Equitrac port, use the Wizard to convert them back.  However, if the conversion was originally performed manually, you must manually convert them back.
