Remote DRE Fails to Pull a License in System Manager

Issue:

With Equitrac Professional 5, the Document Routing Engine (DRE) is installed on a remote print server, but has not drawn a license in System Manager.

Resolve:

This behavior can occur if the name of Core Accounting Server (CAS) machine is incorrectly defined on the Document Routing Engine (DRE) machine. To verify and/or modify the name of the CAS server on the DRE machine, perform the following steps:

1.     On the DRE, locate the following registry subkey:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Equitrac\Common

2.     Verify that the value in the CASName key is correct.  If it is not, modify the setting to the correct name..

3.     If the name is modified, you must restart the EQ DRE service for the change to take effect.
