"Failed to obtain an embedded device - ecopy license" message on eCopy Scanstation
Resolution:
This indicates that the Equitrac embedded client installed in the Scanstation was unable to access an available license on the Equitrac server. Open system manager and look at the licenses, assignment view and verify the client has enough embedded licenses. Check the "last used column" and if there is a license that has not been used recently, you can right-click and select "remove assignment" to release this license.
If the client needs additional licenses please refer them to their sales rep or to the customer service department.
