All print jobs that meet a routing rule condition are not redirected by the Print Client
Problem Statement:
In an Equitrac Professional environment that has routing rules, when a print job that meets the criteria of a routing rule is sent to any printer, the print job will not be completed. If a routing rule contains a Custom Message, the Custom Message will appear notifying the user that the print job cannot be completed. The Print option will be disabled leaving only the Cancel option accessible.
Cause:
The environment does not contain a print server and all of the printers that are connected to the affected PC will be connected via Standard TCP/IP ports. The Document Routing Client is not installed on affected PC. If you do not have a print server with a DRE, the DRC is required for routing.
Resolution:
1. Run the Equitrac Professional Print Client installer
2. Select Modify
3. During the installation, select the option to install Document Routing Client
4. Complete the installation
