Problem Statement:

Error message from CAS in Windows Event Viewer:

EQ Accounting Server Application Event Log Error: Can't re-process transaction....CPS error. ulErr=600041 strMsg='Call processing engine exception: Call Costing: Unknown Site:1'.'.

Full sample error:

Can't re-process transaction. TrxID=2127898(0x20781A) ReqID=0(0x0) ulErr=93086(0x16B9E)

errMsg='EQCASTransactionSubSystem::eqGetCPSPhoneTrxCost: CPS error.

ulErr=600041 strMsg='Call processing engine exception: Call Costing: Unknown Site:1'.'.

Cause:

The system is getting call site data for multiple sites from a single source, so the lookup by unique extension option is enabled in the File incoming source settings, and learn new extensions cannot be used. If there are extensions in the CDR that are not defined in EP5, this error is created for calls from those extensions.

Resolution:

Enable the "Reject transactions from unknown extensions" on the File incoming source settings to avoid this error (see screen shot of File incoming source settings attached to this solution).

To locate the specific extension that is missing, use Transaction Editor to look up the TrxID indicated in the error.
