When using Equitrac Professional 5, and Printer with Windows Type 4 Print Drivers, they fail to convert to EQ Ports

Detail:

V4 printer drivers can *not* have 3rd party (Nuance/EQ) ports installed. This attempted configuration will always fail. This is a security constraint put in place by Microsoft.

Workaround:

Use Type 3 print drivers
