Report Template Not Found Error Message Appears When Attempting to Run Reports
This behavior can occur if BOTH "Named Pipes" and "TCP/IP" protocols are not enabled on the Microsoft SQL server name/instance being used to connect to the eqcas database.
Ensure that BOTH 'Named Pipes' and 'TCP/IP' protocols are set to 'Enabled' on the MSSQL server name/instance being used to connect to the eqcas database.
If the database is local to the CAS server, the protocols and their staus can be found/adjusted in SQL Server Configuration Manager, under Network Configuration.
If the database is external and on the client's own SQL Server, give the client the exact server name/instance being used in the eqcas ODBC DSN and have them verify that BOTH 'Named Pipes' and 'TCP/IP' protocols are enabled.
Also, check the ODBC connection and make sure the option "With SQL Server authentication using a login ID and passwrd entered by the user." is enabled and the connection tests good with the eqcas user and password.
