After adding an Xlet to a device and going into the Output Manager icon, a messages with "Detected error (13) Cannot Get Special Device Id" appears.
This can occur when the same device is listed multiple times in Output Manager.
Find a duplicate device by MAC address within Output Manager and remove it.
- Go to Administration > Manage Devices
- Click on the Output Manager Devices tab
- Sort by MAC address.
- Remove any duplicate device from the list.
- Remove the device from DRS.
- Re-add the device to DRS
- Re-initialize applet.
