How to manually install the PaperPort PDF printer
How to manually install the PaperPort PDF printer
Issue:
The PaperPort PDF printer should have installed as part of the paperport installation, but if it didn't or if it was somehow removed, you can install it manually
Resolution:
First, uninstall the existing one, if it's on your system. It is a separate install/uninstall, so you will find it here:
Control Panel
Programs and Features
PaperPort Image Printer (or PaperPort Image Printer 64-bit)
Uninstall it, if it's there. Then look at the location where you unzipped the 14.5 download and you will see a folder called: PPImgPrinter
It has two subfolders:
System32
System64
Each of those subfolders has a file in it called:
setup.exe
Run the setup file for the bit level of Windows that you have (32-bit or 64-bit). This will install the printer.
