How to Manually add Nuance PDF printer back if accidently deleted from Windows Devices and Printers screen
Workflow to reproduce:
The User went into windows control panel, and then into "Devices and Printers" view and displayed their currently installed printers and right clicked on "Nuance PDF' and deleted the PDF Printer from their system. They but did so accidently, and now would like to PDF print functionality back inside of their Power PDF software and is unable to fix this manually.
Manual reinstallation of the Nuance PDF printer is not possible inside of the windows "add printer" wizard. Our software must be reinstallated or repaired.
The user will have to go into the "Program and features" control panel MMC snap in and then click to uninstall Power PDF and follow through the prompts to choose to "modify/Repair the power PDF installation and click next, and this step will recopy and resolve this issue with the missing and corrupt files as well as shortcuts and to re add the Nuance PDF printer.
The user will have to go into root of the local c: drive when the Power PDF where the installation origanally was extracted to and launch the setup application to start the process to "modify/Repair" the power PDF installation and click next, and this step will re-copy and resolve this issue with the missing and corrupt files as well as shortcuts and to re add the Nuance PDF printer.

A) Power PDF 1.2 Advanced volume will be this path : c:\ppdf-12-av-efgdiswabtmjkpryznch-15356.100\setup.exe
B) Power PDF 2.0 Advanced volume will be this path: c:\ppdf-20-av-efgd-16316\setup.exe\
Following this reinstallation process wizard and repair of our software, components the "Nuance PDF" Printer should be available for use again.
