Question:

Printing from OpenText DM 10 using PowerPDF without having to open the documents produces an error,   "Print settings are not defined for this application, print the document from within the application"  

Resolution:

You must install Power PDF Advanced 2.x, 3.0 or earlier releases and copy the attached PDFProDMS.ini file to the "C:\Program Data\Nuance" folder on each workstation to resolve this.

Note: In Kofax Power PDF 3.1, 4.0, 4.1 and 5.0 and later releases the location of this specific set of ini settings must be saved to, "C:\Program Data\Kofax"

 

Ensure on the eDocs server in the application launch settings that the integration is set to "Full Integration" and then apply and close.

DDE is disabled in the Integration.

 

This .ini file contains the following lines

[Hummingbird]

Use_PDF_Printer=1
