Stationery with Japanese text is not applied in *.pdf file

Issue:

"Stationery" with Japanese text is not applied in *.pdf file.  This happens when you add a stationary containing Japanese hieroglyphs in PowerPDF under "Manage Stationery Sets".  Note, this option will only be available if at installation you selected the document processing panel and marked the checkbox "Stationery".  A standard PowerPDF installation does not give you the stationery option.

Resolution

This is a known issue in power PDF version 2.0.  As a workaround, the user can install  "Arial Unicode MS" font and then the stationery will be applied.
