Scanning more than 200 pages with an FX device results in a failed scan job with error code 027-728. When a multi-page document arrived during scanning, the pages of this got processed immediately, which can cause slowness. For FX devices the image transfer is done by using multipage TIFF format instead of single page TIFF. The pages are processed only when they must be displayed on the Preview screen.

Scan job stops with the error message " This device cannot communicate with the sharescan manager. The error was caused by an intermittent synchronization issue in the ImageProvider. The potential synchronization problem has been eliminated.

The glossary handling has changed in HF4591 and the new implementation verifies the signature of the glossary files before loading them (except for 3rd party connectors).In earlier, the signature of the client glossary got corrupted and as a result of this, the Admin Console could not load the client glossary after HF4591 (or later) was installed. The signature of the client glossary XML file has been fixed.

In some cases, the CSDK cannot return the proper image resolution when ShareScan tries to obtain information about the image file. One such case is, when the input file is a JPEG and the resolution info in stored in the EXIF tag. For these files, the CSDK reports 300 DPI by default which is not desired in some cases.

ShareScan tried to determinate the "ConnectorID" from the "ConnectorProgID" property of the connector by taking the text before the ".MainControl" substring of the ConnectorProgID. This worked for almost all connectors but not for the Application Xtender connector as its connector ID is "ApplicationXtender" but its prog ID is "ShareScanApplicationXtender.MainControl".
