During scan the following error appears on the MFD screen.
"Unable to start scanning. Please try again later. An incorrect session ID was specified"
This above error does not occur when scanning smaller number of pages or just couple of pages.
The error appears because the device sending the images to the ShareScan manager longer than 15 seconds.
In this case the session which was opened the begriming of the scan will be time out. ShareScan did not receive job end signal or any button press.
To solve the issue please do the following:
- Press Settings at ShareScan Administration console
- Find the bottom of Settings : Advanced ShareScan Settings
- Click on the three dots "..."
- At Advanced ShareScan Settings type the in Filter field DeviceCommunicationTimeOut
- Change the value from 15000 to 60000
