Using ShareScan with the Interwoven Worksite connector, error message "Unable to store your document due to following error: This operations is currently not available due to flatspace filing restrictions" is displayed when scanning.
Worksite version 9.0 SP1 and higher utilizes a new document check-in functionality that is incompatible with ShareScan default configurations.
The solution is twofold:
- Apply appropriate Hotfix (if required), and
- Update the imanage.dll (See )

1) Apply appropriate hotfix
ShareScan 5.4: Please install Cumulative Update 2 or later. Service Pack 2 is recommended.
ShareScan 5.2 SP2: Install hotfix 3004 or newer.
ShareScan 5.2 RTM or SP1: Install hotfix 2017 or newer.
ShareScan 5.1 Service Pack 1: Install hotfix 1088 or newer. (5.1.20419.1088 or newer)
ShareScan 5.1 RTM and earlier: Please install current software version then apply the appropriate hotfix.
