When using the SMTP via LDAP connector, the workflow completes without error but no email is ever received.
Tests of the connector configuration pass successfully and there are no apparent errors in the trace logs.
Symantec Antivirus and the Generic email scanner is in use.
Disabling the Generic email scanner within Symantec application resolved the issue.
This may also occur with other Anti-virus applications which utilize email scanning or port blocking technologies.
