Behavior
- When using HTTPS as the document image transport protocol for the -MarkView Barcode Server- on a Windows 2003 Server the following Error(s) appear in the application console and log file:

- When using HTTPS as the document image transport protocol for the -MarkView Print Server- and -MarkView Viewer Desktop Edition- on a Windows 2003 Server, the following error message is displayed:
Unable to open document. Image Error (10009) opening page 1

Internet Explorer Security settings on Windows 2003 Server.
Resolution
To resolve the error for the -MarkView Barcode Server-, take the following actions:
- Go to Start->Settings->Control Panel.
- In the Control Panel, double-click Internet Options
- In the Internet Properties screen, select the Advanced tab.
- Scroll down to the Security section and find the Do not save encrypted pages to disk checkbox. Make sure this checkbox is not checked.
To resolve the issue with -MarkView Print Server- and -MarkView Viewer Desktop Edition-, follow the preceding steps and take the following additional steps:
- Go to Start->Settings->Control Panel.
- In the Control Panel, double-click Internet Options
- In the Internet Properties screen, select the Advanced tab.
- Scroll down to the Security section. Make sure that the following three checkboxes are not checked:
- Check for publisher's certificate revocation
- Check for server certificate revocation (requires restart)
- Empty Temporary Internet Files folder when browser is closed
