MarkView Connector - Export Request fails with message: nullMissing or unknown file type requested

Connector invoice is scanned but not successfully imported into Kofax Ascent. The Connector Export Admin tool in Support Tools shows that the Export Request failed with the following error:
    nullMissing or unknown file type requested

Attempts to resubmit the request result in the same error.

Known Causes

Versions of MarkView Document Export (mvasvue) prior to (released in the 5.10.8 patch set) do not support the file type that is required by the Connector process. The "nullMissing or unknown file type requested" message occurs as a result.


Open the mvexpress.log file and look for the most recent line that says "...Start logging as of...". This will contain the current version number of the OC4J. If the version is lower than, please apply the correct version for your environment: For example, in a 5.10.8 environment, install the mvasvue from the 5.10.8 patch set. In a 5.10.9 environment, install the mvasvue from the 5.10.9 patch set.

If the correct version is installed but the error persists, please submit a case in the Support Portal.
