Overview

MarkView MVC Email PDF markup allows end users to email a PDF version of the document image to a person with a valid email address.  This was originally implemented as a Consulting Solution.  In MarkView 6.4 the same functionality was included in the product, and new releases of MarkView use the product functionality.

Troubleshooting Steps

If you encounter an issue with MarkView MVC Email PDF markup, please perform the following steps:

Review the mv_export_request_history table for error messages

• If the following error message is raised in the mv_export_request_history table, this is an indication the port the MarkView Export Server has been assigned to is unable to communicate with the server upon which the MarkView schema has been installed.
  
  Http Exception: Invalid argument Invalid argument ( java.net.SocketException: Invalid argument Invalid argument).
   

MarkView Export Server DBMS JOB

• To verify the MarkView dbms_job for the MarkView Export server is processing events, please query the user_jobs view in the MarkView schema to confirm the job is not broken.
