MarkView ERP Integration - Error when modifiying the Invoice Workbench form in an Oracle On Demand Environment.

Behavior

• When trying to make the MarkView modifications to the Invoice Workbench form the option to select "TEXT_ITEM" under the subclass is missing.

Known Causes

• When making Oracle Forms modifications in an Oracle On Demand environment or any environment where you cannot modifiy the forms directly on the Oracle Forms server, additional steps must be taken when making form modifications to ensure that all of the references to the MarkView and Oracle libraries are maintained.

Resolution

• When making the form modifications on a desktop PC you will need to do the following:

1) Download the entire $AU_TOP directory to the PC that you are making the forms changes on
2) Connect to the Oracle Applications Schema through Forms Builder.
3) Make the modifications to the form that you are working on.
4) Once you have made the changes save the form and upload it back to the Forms Server.
5) Then follow the installation instructions in the MarkView installtion guide to compile the form.
