MarkView Oracle Integration - Events Not Processing Due to ORA-20858: Error (-904) while querying unique record: ORA-00904: -CUSTOMERTRXID-: invalid identifier error

Behavior

• The Process (SQL*Flow) Manager is unable to process events out of the SF_EVENT_ALERT table, so events start backing up. The Manager log file shows the following error:

  09/03/2007 04:08:44: Firing Rule Instance: 374
  09/03/2007 04:08:44: Encountered the following error while firing rule (rule instance id = 374):
  09/03/2007 04:08:44: ORA-01403: no data found
  ORA-20858: Error (-904) while querying unique record: ORA-00904: "CUSTOMERTRXID": invalid identifier

Known Causes

• This error is a known issue that is fixed by applying mvoadbobj-hotfix-5.10.7.3.zip.

Resolution

• Download the attached hotfix and apply it per the Patch Instructions.
