Question / Problem:
Following the application of an Oracle patch, auto-attach no longer works although the manual attach function seems to work as expected
Answer / Solution:
One possible cause is that the process to apply the patch has overwritten Application function data associated with the Invoice Workbench form. This can be corrected in Oracle EBS.
Take the following steps:
Login with System Administrator Responsibility
Navigation: Application > Function
Search on %APXINWKB%
- For AP_APXINWKB click Form tab
- Ensure Function AP_APXINWKB Form is set to "170 Invoice Workbench" then save (error occurs in illustration below because Oracle has overwritten "170 Invoice Workbench" with "Invoice Workbench").
- Logout and Login again then test
