MarkView Process Monitor - HTTP 500 Internal Server Error trying to Access Process Monitor

Behavior

  • When trying to access MarkView Process Monitor, through the Utilities > Process Monitor menu item, it returns an HTTP 500 Internal Server Error in the frame below the MarkView Home menu. What could be causing this behavior?

Note: MarkView Process Monitor used to be named MarkView SQL*Flow Monitor.

Known Causes

  • This has been known to occur when the requirements on the Application Server have not been met.

Resolution

  • Please confirm that on the MarkView Application Server, where the Monitor Module has been installed, the correct version of the supported JDK is installed per the Supported Platform Matrix for your version of MarkView:
  • Once the above requirement has been met, please also ensure that the JDK bin directory must be in your path, ahead of all other JDKs, JREs, and JVMs. Note that you must use a 32-bit JDK, even on a 64-bit platform.
