SSI work items stuck in Import Error queue

  • If a user submits a self-service invoice (SSI) that gets stuck in the interface table with a 'REJECTED' status, the work item will get stuck in the Import Error queue of the workflow and will not transition forward.

Known Causes

  • This is a known defect (Defect 965275 - SSI work items stuck in Import Error queue need a way to be routed to end queue in workflow). This defect is being considered for inclusion in a future release of MarkView.


  • The work around for this problem is to log a new case with Technical Support to request a route script to manually route the work item(s) in question. Reference this article in your case submission.
