MarkView Viewer - Browser opens but immediately closes when attempting to view images in MarkView For SAP via Attachment List - Display

Behavior

• When attempting to view an image associated with an invoice in MarkView For SAP (via Attachment List - Display), a browser session opens, but immediately closes, thus preventing images from being viewed.
      The URL of the page that the system is attempting to open is of the form:
      http://server.mycompany.com:7778/pls...howDoc?d=12345

Known Causes

• When the MarkView Viewer is launched, either the Viewer is launched in a separate window or a control window is opened and this window will launch the Viewer. In either case, if the user's browser has pop-up blocking enabled, it will prevent the Viewer from launching.

Resolution

• In order to allow the Viewer to launch, then pop-up blocking needs to be disabled for all servers from which a "ShowDoc" will be initiated.
  Based on our earlier example URL: http://server.mycompany.com:7778/pls...howDoc?d=12345, pop-up blocking can be disabled by browsing to http://server.mycompany.com:7778 and clicking the "Popups OK" option in the Toolbar.
