Cannot start MarkView Server in WebLogic. It is in incompatible state

Question / Problem: 

MarkView_Server in Weblogic is in “FORCE_SHUTTING_DOWN” state and does not start. It's erroring out:

“The server MarkView_server is in an incompatible state."

"All of the servers selected are currently in a state which is incompatible with this operation or are not associated with a running Node Manager or you are not authorized to perform the action requested. No action will be performed.”

Answer / Solution: 

1. Delete markview_server.state from your MarkView server folder “servers/managed_server/data/nodemanager/” where managed_server is your MarkView server name

2. Start the MarkView_Server from WebLogic console.
