Which target systems can AP Essentials (formerly ReadSoft Online) send Output to?
AP Essentials (formerly ReadSoft Online) supports integrations with a number of ERP systems, financial systems and accounting programs. The level of integration with each target system can vary. For example, some systems simply accept incoming invoice data (output) from AP Essentials (formerly ReadSoft Online), whereas others integrate master data and workflows.
Some of the most common Target Systems are:
1- Direct ERP integrations, such as Dynamics 365 for Finance, NetSuite, Oracle Fusion Cloud, etc. These Target Systems communicates directly with AP Essentials (formerly ReadSoft Online). See the link in reference section for a full list of integrations.
2- Customers may also have other ERP systems where AP Essentials (formerly ReadSoft Online) currently does not have a direct integration, such as PeopleSoft, BirchStreet, etc. Given these Target Systems do not communicate directly with AP Essentials (formerly ReadSoft Online), customers would either use AP Essentials (formerly ReadSoft Online) Connect (i.e. ROC XML Locally), SFTP, Email, or the AP Essentials (formerly ReadSoft Online) API to retrieve invoice data & Image files. Also note, for these systems there would most likely also be some type of custom process running on the customer's network to take the output generated by AP Essentials (formerly ReadSoft Online) and ingest it into the ERP system.
The target systems that appear can vary depending on other services. For example, if the Workflow service is enabled, only target systems that support Workflow services are displayed.
Output data is usually a combination of XML-formatted invoice data and invoice image files. The image files can be in TIF format or searchable PDF (PDF version 1.6), depending on which output service you use.
Custom XML transformations (XSLT) can be used to transform output data for email output, SFTP and local XML. Only partner administrators and Kofax personnel can upload custom XSLT files to the system.
