The following are the necessary steps to change the password for the d4 schema in PROCESSIT

Database

  1. Connect to the processit database as d4 or a use that has DBA privileges.
  2. Execute the following command, replacing new_password with the desired password:

ALTER USER d4 IDENTIFIED BY new_password;

WebLogic

  1. Within the WebLogic Console, in the Domain Configurations section, click Data Sources.

  2. In the Data Sources list, click the D4_DB_D4 data source, and then click the Connection Pool tab.
  3. In the upper-left of the screen, click Lock and Edit.
  4. Enter and confirm the new password in the appropriate fields in the Connection Pools screen.
  5. When complete, click Save, and then click Activate Changes.
  6. Click the Control tab, and then click Lock and Edit.
  7. Select the AdminServer check box, and then click Shutdown.
  8. Click Yes to confirm the shutdown of the data source.
  9. Select the AdminServer check box, and then click Start.
  10. Click Yes to confirm the start of the data source.
  11. Repeat steps 2 -10 for the SOA Suite data source.
  12. Log in to the Application Server Control console (http://processit:7777/em).
  13. Under the All Application Servers section, click oc4j_soa.
  14. Under the Administration tab, in the JDBC Resources section, click Go to Task.
  15. Under Connection Pools, click the D4_DB_D4_POOL link, enter the new password, and then click Apply.
