How to locate the GlobalPath for INVOICES

Issue

In order to provide configuration files or find license information in the GlobalPath, customers must know how to find this directory. The GlobalPath is accessible from any Invoices client on the customer's network.

Solution

Open Windows Explorer and enter %READSOFTINVOICESLOCAL% into the Address bar, then press Enter.

Open the EILOCAL.ini file with a text editor, such as Notepad.

In the [Directory] section, locate the entry for GlobalPath.

Copy and paste the file path (everything on this line after the equal (=) sign) into the Address bar from step one, then press Enter.

This location is the GlobalPath for Invoices.
