Device Automation Service - Lock Screen Not Working

Question / Problem:

The screen doesn’t lock when utilizing the Lock Screen option in the Device Automation Service. How can this be fixed?

Answer / Solution:

This can occur when an Interactive Logon Message is being utilized in Windows Security. Steps below to disable this feature.

1. Run gpedit.msc

2. Go to Browser Configuration – Windows Settings – Security Settings – Local Policies – Security Options

3. Delete the values in the following Interactive Logon policies

-  Interactive logon: Message text for users for attempting to log on

-  Interactive logon: Message title for users attempting to log on
