Summary

12414

A simple way to start RoboServer when a Linux server is started is to put this in the user's crontab configuration:

  • @reboot /home/<USERNAME>/startRoboServer.sh
  • Next, create a executable startRoboServer.sh file:

#!/bin/bash
nohup /home/<USERNAME>/<Kapow Installation folder>/bin/RoboServer -service socket:50000 -MC < /dev/null >&
/home/<USERNAME>/nohup.out &

If you prefer to modify the /etc/crontab you need to add: @reboot <USERNAME> /home/<USERNAME>/startRoboServer.sh
