Writing to SFTP share causes null-pointer exception on Tomcat 8.5.34 and Tomcat 9.0.34

3024608

Question / Problem:

Tomcat fixed a bug https://bz.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=64265 which adds the need to have a 'proper'/non-null eTag for resources as it assumes a non-null value. If a robot _reads_ from SFTP share the RFS service will fail with a null-pointer exception - giving a 500 response to the robot. Writing works. The Tomcat bug is fixed in: - master for 10.0.0-M4 onwards - 9.0.xfor 9.0.34 onwards - 8.5.xfor 8.5.54 onwards - 7.0.xfor 7.0.104 onwards We should return something else than null for eTags.
