What are the difference between a Perpetual License and Term License?

Solution

Perpetual License:

• You pay to own the software, you don't have to pay maintenance in order to make the software work. (If you don't pay the maintenance you cannot implement updates)

• Don't expire

• In case you need additional licenses you need to pay the maintenance

Term License:

• The subscription have an expired date
• You need to pay the license and the maintenance to have the Software working (needs a renewal)
• In case you need additional licenses you need to pay the maintenance
