Configuring CEF Robots for Certificates in Design Studio and RoboServer

How can certificates be configured for Design Studio and RoboServer when developing CEF-based robots?

Solution

CEF robots use the certificates installed into the Windows OS store. As long as they are installed on the DS and RS machines (same user if it's user based), it will work.

Prior to building your robot, interactively test the behavior on your DS and RS machines to check for any certificate selection and credential prompts when you load the website. CEF robot may present you either one or both. If that is the case, import the certificate back in using Internet Explorer, then remove the "Prompt for password every time" option.
