Issue
What firewall rules need to be in place to allow the Desktop Automation Service to work?
Solution
Before RPA 10.6 it was ok to create firewall rules which allow the communication based on the node.exe executable.
Starting with RPA 10.6 we require that the ports 49998 and 49999 (in the default configuration) are allowed inbound. This are the Command and Stream ports which are configured in the Desktop Automation Service configuration.
Additionally you need to have Firewall rules in place which allow the Desktop Automation Service to communicate with the Management Console.
For example port 50080 for an embedded Managment Console.
